Like it just sucks because now when a character dies I have to assume "it's fine" and not feel sad or anything and always expect a scene in a next game of them going "it's been a while" and stepping out of the shadows.

And it feels like they did that retcon because they REALLY wanted the new guy they got to be him and wanna keep him around.

For me they change what happens to a character at the end of the game supposedly and that literally affects a plot point in 4 so either they don't address it, they remake 4 and change that scene, or that person is lying.

My coworker unfortunately watches fox news at work and I saw a person that came on try to have an actual point/debate and the guy keep just cutting them off repeating "yeah well you kill puppies" it's like watching a child throw a tantrum
