Reminder: Sonic frauds did not even like Ian Flynn until the Archie comics got rebooted, the same comics they repeatedly said they hated for not being like the games and too edgy and dramatic, WHILE Ian was the writer.

There's a lot to unpack here about everything wrong with this post, but more importantly, the longer Sonic "fans" show this bias, the more it's gonna show it's not even about bias or opinion, but about being part of the crowd. These people don't even like Sonic as a character in the first place

People can talk about gameplay and Mario all they want, but they've never been what people liked most or found the most interesting aspects of this series.

Usually I say Sonic needs to be more of an action series akin to Warframe and Nelo, but a Sonic game or set of games that take inspiration from Megaman X and Final Fantasy would be the shit. Add in those gems from 06 or Chaos Emeralds as materia. #SonicTheHedgehog
