Can honestly say there is no headline I’ve been happier to see in politics. This is so huge. We need to be more unapologetically socialist and not worry about how conservatives have demonized the label. Socialism is for EVERYONE. Not just the rich.

Don't get it twisted, the enemy is being inaugurated today. But our supposed "ally" in the democratic party failed their responsibility to hold their counterparts accountable. The power they hold is too valuable to risk. They may convince themselves they were playing the long game, but that's BS.

Which created democratic GATEKEEPERS. We can't secure rights for ourselves except through them. And this constant cherry picking of justice created the massive gaping cracks that fascists used to create power for themselves. Fun fact - you can't be truly democratic and support money in politics.

The establishment failed all of us. I'm fiercely progressive, and while there may be politicians that claim the word "progressive", I know how truly underrepresented that word is in government. Progress has been monopolized by the democratic party. Progress can't happen unless through them.

I believe they already are. It’s called flashes.
