Living in central Sweden, originally from the Netherlands, with my better half. Here to learn about music I don't know yet, old and new, prog / psych / blues. I like photos of nature and the skies beyond this earth.
I recently discovered Hidria Space Folk from Finland. Instrumental psychedelic space rock, very melodic and progressive at times, with a lot of unexpected elements. Love this!

A few weeks ago I found the album Assault On Merryland by Missouri band Surprise. Excellent symphonic prog but not a lot is known about the band. Soon I will publish a review but also an interview with the studio engineer and two of the original musicians on this album. #progressiveRock

With my love for prog and blues, the overlap is what I like best. This is a very good example. Omega - Élő Omega (originally presented as a live album or it would not have been allowed by the Hungarian government, but it was studio recordings with some audience noise).

Another one of my all-time favourites: Neuschwanstein — Battlement (Germany, 1979). Symphonic progressive rock without getting too complex. Just beautiful multi-layered melodies. www.youtube.com/watch?v=dN6i...

I don't know how I missed these but glad I finally discovered Kingston Wall. Heavy, melodic, proggy, psychedelic blues rock from Finland. Three albums between 91 and 95. Not on Bandcamp unfortunately. Hendrix, Cream, Hawkwind, Led Zep...
