i stopped smiling with my teeth as kid because so many made fun of me for looking asian (im mixed 😭)
it made me feel like i had to do everything to appear white to fit in, but now i still get those comments when I dont smile with my teeth so i just gave up on fighting it
its just a waste of my time

I work a traditional job and when I think about drawing I think about it as another job
It has skills you have to hone just like any other job, it can also exacerbate conditions to get worse (nerve damage, posture, ect.) just like some other jobs can
It can be very debilitating to draw sometimes

I think I used to be very “I’m a dog person” but I think that was me as kid talking because now I barely have the energy for me but I use every last bit of it to make my cats lives a living heaven
I just don’t have the energy to keep up with a dogs needs, especially bc I already do that for work 😭

As a growing child I had a dog, a rescue pug, very sweet old lady, would never replace her
Now I’m an adult and I love my two cats
One has the energy of me 3 days into a week vacay and the other has the energy of me after 4 days straight of 12 hour EMS shifts lol

Most pure vanilla extracts are diluted into alcohol to absorb most of the flavor, that’s why it tastes so yucky 😞
