Almost like they tell that story a shortly after the luster on a new deal wears off (CBA, Broadcast rights, etc) and they have to seed the ground with “woe is ownership” stories to prep for the next round.

Yes - and that right there is why businesses and corporate lobbying organizations fight Medicare for all or the equivalent w everything they have. Health insurance - and keeping you from it if not in their employ - is one of their best retention levers.

Not my point - rather that defensive stats are noisy and take larger samples to shake out. And the team defense - which was new to the Knicks - plays a role in establishing individual metrics. So give it time and maybe assume less.
