He got lucky; his IQ & work ethic met the criteria of the big $ careers he chose to pursue. Are artists w/ high creative IQs & unparalleled work ethic as ‘lucky’ as lawyers, doctors, engineers & bankers, measured in ratios, percentages, pie charts? His aperture is as narrow as the rest of them.3/3

Bc, after all, if *he* made mucho $ despite a racist world, we all should be able to. Finding out *after* voting him in 2x that his yardstick for having “done really well” was same as his oppressors - accumulate wealth by any means necessary - is what I failed to see @ 1st glance. Disappointing.2/

Oy, the mistake I made when I saw things (ideals, a paradigm, a moral compass that aligned w/ mine) in Obama that weren’t there. It never dawned on me that he was a capitalist, a centrist who believed change, hope fairness for all was achievable from within the system he had “done really well in.”1/

I was about 11(?) when an exhibition of drawings by survivors of Hiroshima & Nagasaki came to my town. I remember feeling devastated, horrified. I saw the half of the stories movies about that war didn’t tell. 1/2

2/2 Is that a bad thing? No. It’s what the times demand in order for the peens to shut up, step aside or be run over. Low birthrates merely threaten to hasten the collapse of what is already doomed - capitalism & the pyramid shaped power structure of hoarding wealth from value created by laborers.

1/2 Meanwhile the real crisis is the intentionally dysfunctional systems, the asymmetry of power, the demonization of women who insist on being the boss in every area of their life & never compromise w/ men again. Are many of us in a pendulum swing phase? Maybe.
