As expected, this is a great watch. Filled with so many references to the past and to other Aardman movies/shows. I suspect multiple watches will discover more hidden jokes and references. Loved the return of the red machine. Brought back a few memories.

Checked out the first 3 episodes of Creature Commandos tonight and while I'm not entirely sold on it I did really enjoy it when it focused on one characters backstory. Bride and GI Robot are cool as hell and I really can't wait to see Dr P's backstory. My brain just sees Blight 😆

Yeah it's funny. You got War which was marketed as Li vs Stathem and two years earlier, you had Chaos which was Snipes vs Stathem. Neither of which were the movies people wanted and yet I enjoyed both for what they were.
Plus a young Ryan Phillipe which everyone loved in One Shot.

Yeah it's funny. You got War which was marketed as Li vs Stathem and two years earlier, you had Chaos which was Snipes vs Stathem. Neither of which were the movies people wanted and yet I enjoyed both for what they were.
Plus a young Ryan Phillipe which everyone loved in One Shot.

Decided to rewatch Ark Exitus tonight before sleeping and you know what.. I've been watching a lot of sub-par dtv action movies lately. Most of which have well established leads and decent budgets for the type of film they are.

Rewatch complete of what was once one of my all time favourites that I haven't seen in probably 17 years... Young me wasn't wrong. Still holds up after all this time and while I do love the original I think Blade 2 is the better movie.

I watched this last night. Lured in by the promise of MJW, Rourke and Fahey.. I rewatched hellbinders the other day for the first time in probably a decade. I dropped it half a star... I feel like I now owe Hellbinders a heartfelt apology 🤣

Haven't seen this one in years. Finally sitting down to watch the Eureka Blu Ray. Opening 15 minutes already reminded me what a classic this is. Can tell this is a Corey Yuen flick 😅

Was beyond hyped to watch this again. Especially in 4K. While I did notice a few niggles this time around, I still think this might take the cake for my action movie of the year. Love the characters, the setting, the cinematography and of course Kenji's action is flawless.

Finally watched the new Transformers film and yeah, I can see why people have been really on board with this one. Kinda wish it was a little bit longer to give the characters a bit more time to develop but I'm genuinely surprised how much I enjoyed it.

Well, this was a strange experience at the cinema. Lots of confused faces and belly laughs. Some great comedic moments buuuut I'm left feeling a bit empty? Not really sure what the point was. It just sort of ends with no conclusion.
