But sometimes things aren't our faults, and they just suck, and there's no good explanation. Sometimes bad things happen to you, and you're not the one to blame for it. Sometimes it's not selfish to admit that you wish you were treated better.

I guess it comes from my ever-present impostor syndrome, and my need to act like I'm actually totally okay with everything. Pretending that I didn't deserve it is like saying "I've already moved on to acceptance, and it's actually all my fault."
