Daughter's cat vanished Dec 17 & assumed the worst as temps were below 0. Spent hours visiting shelters, posting flyers, to no avail. Jan 22: worker heard meowing inside a storm drain. Though boss told him to ignore, he lifted heavy grate & Raven was found! Here's to the man who saved a life! ❤️❤️❤️

There will likely be a "Brain Drain" of scientists to other countries throughout the world. Hope they (including Canada) are reaching out to give these labs a home. Reminds me a bit of how Einstein came to the US. Other places will clearly benefit from hosting brilliant US medical research.

Our banana leaf Christmas tree. We were asked by a local to help bring Père Noël gifts to kids in foster care. When the kids heard we were Canadians who sailed here, they were convinced Santa gave us the gifts directly, and we were his Supply Ship. (Best job ever!) Ia 'oa'oa e teie Noera to all 🌴☃️🌴

To Canadians hearing promises of the benefits of healthcare privatization, pay close attention. This is EXACTLY what it very likely will lead to. Do not be fooled. Put energy into fixing flaws in our system and keep healthcare $$$ from those who only care about financial statements and shareholders.
