i also read like 5 chapters of higurashi in October which ended up being enough of my reading time that it deserves a mention! liked the question chapters a lil more than the answer ones but i like how the mystery ended up wrapping up. gotta finish 8 but i needed a break for a lil lmao

negative spaces — bleak brutal brilliant cosmic horror, favorite thing ive read all year
in the miso soup — liked but didn’t love, started stronger than it finished but worth a read
borges stories — as amazing as everyone says. needa pick up a copy for the house hehe

kind of just an inevitability of moving away from art that’s no longer personally satisfying/representative of what i care about and exploring new mediums and ideas but still feels lousy in the short term haha. oh well!!

super burnt out on drawing and painting. been having lotsa fun w writing but ive only been doing it for a few months so everything i make is kinda dogwater. playing w some games projects but followthru is hard for someone struggling w finishing drawings and short stories
