Am I the only person who’s more traumatized by trigger warnings? Like, I’m not coulrophobic, but if you pause first to say, “trigger warning: CLOWNS,” that’s it. My brain’s like, “generic trauma? Hell yeah.” Skip the TW. Just tell me about the time you went to the circus, and let’s keep it moving.

When Disney debuted Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser, their two-night, immersive theatre experience, I got excited for the possibilities of a whole new world of experiential entertainment. Now, not even a year later, they’ve announced its closure. Hope this isn’t the end for this innovative category.

I’m concerned about living in a society where an 11.99 monthly subscription for beverages at Panera is a strong value proposition. Intelligent life, if you’re out there, please send inspiration — and better chain restaurants!
