Aukus was technically created by the LnP to be fair. I Don’t know the details of your fossil fuel claims but I’d counter with largest investment in renewables ever seen and tripled the tax intake from the mining industry in the most recent financial year aswell as closing tax loopholes for next year

Whitlam had abit more then a tentative one seat majority to do all of that oh and remember what happened to him when he went against the USA’s interests (as you suggest we should) ? Suddenly you think that can’t happen again ? Ask Kevin Rudd how that went for him aswell.

They have literally been blocked on dozens of bills by the libs. I think one climate bill passed because the greens refused to pass it allowing the libs to water it down.

I think you’ll find on the rest of this ladies posts I presented several reasonable political concepts that indicate in my opinion this labor government has don’t a phenomenal and brave job on government with a slim majority and lack of support in the upper house. My biggest fear is an LNP return

I’d imagine the increases to social security, Medicare and massive boost in developments to social housing would fall under that category. Applying your logic couldn’t I say making the working class pay tax is discriminatory? (I don’t think that btw)

In three years they legislated the biggest pay rises in decades, altered the tax brackets to favour working Aussies l, have started bringing bulk billing back from being on life support, are assisting young Aussies with student debts and have created a sustainable housing fund. That is change.

You won’t find it reported on the main stream news but I assure you big business is absolutely filthy with labor’s changes to multinational tax see “the debt reduction creations rules” and changes to thin capitalisation and oecd 15% rule, see the mining industrys tax collection being tripled.

Well if you’re putting LNP above them on your voting sheet all I can do is wish you the best with only ever getting casual work, never getting a pay rise and paying a lot more for basic services. You can stand proud knowing however that the mining industry and big firms will be doing better.

The tax things relatively simple the brackets only change at the start of a new financial year eg after 1 July 2024. And simple the temporary LNP bribe “litmo” tax reduction expired just as labor took power.

To be fair albo gave you the biggest pay rise in years, altered tax brackets to benefit the low and middle class, brought back bulk billing from the death, big industrial relations reforms (unions exist again). Tripled the tax’s the minerals industry paid this year and closed heaps of tax loopholes.
