They claimed our bags were left in Dublin when our Airtags showed them just beyond the baggage claim wall. Had to show the agent 3 times before she (with a giant, exasperated sigh) agreed to find them for us. Lo and behold, they appeared.

No argument there! I have fond memories of desperately trying to dump every thought in my head about Augustus Caesar into a blue book back in World History 1.

My assumption is that many professors decided to allow essays to be written at home over the last decade or so and turned in electronically rather than written physically in a blue book during an exam. But now with students using LLMs to write their essays, it's back to hand-written essays in class.

Can't read the article, but blue books were used when I was in college for essays written as part of an exam while physically in the classroom. Literally just a booklet with ruled pages for writing an essay.
