Another 3D printed guitar idea. The blue lollipop looking thing threads into the saddle from the inside. The back is removable..

Toying with another idea. A 3D printed, headless parlor guitar. It’s a 22” scale. The body is 8” in diameter! It’s 28” long, 2.5” thick. It has a bonded back because I want to add piezoelectrics. I want to print the rest in one piece.

This is more unique!

So I decided to plug in the math and cad model a fretboard to be 3D printed. Fret slots are 0.023” wide and 0.025” deep. Each slot has a 0.005” chamfer. Fret marker pockets are 0.050” deep.

A comparison view of the new 7 neck to a 55 Les Paul jr. This neck is exactly 1 string space wider than its original namesake.

New here! Need to upload some content. I’m experimenting with 3d printed guitars with carbon tubing embedded. I have two in work. A 7 string bass and a double neck 6-12 string.
