This is not “madness.” This is sheer petulance. He is saying, “I’ll show you!” by destroying every single thing he can in RETALIATION for being rejected by all decent Americans. He so badly wanted acceptance from NYC society, and was REJECTED like shit on a shoe. Everything since has been payback.
