The key word was dispatchable. You simply cannot turn nuclear on and off like you need to with a largely renewable energy grid. Renewables are going to predominate because of economics. Nuclear is expensive and not fit for purpose in such a system.

Nuclear Energy is a poor fit for a grid based on renewables. The grid needs dispatchable power sources. BESS, pumped hydropower, biomass gas turbines and compressed air generators or liquid air turbines are all a far better fit and far cheaper. Oh and don’t threaten water resources.
