So as our sundowning president keeps dragging us back in time, it might serve us well to look at the time he wants us to live in. It's time to look unflinchingly at what he wants to make America, and admit that it's not the utopia people want to remember.

Just sayin'.

This isn't to mention the constant fear that Reagan had on the people, we were convinced we were all gonna die in a nuclear fireball 'cuz he was stoking the flames of hate to Soviet Russia.

"99 Red Balloons" is not a happy song, that's all I'll say for now.

The song by Genisis wasn't a cause, it was a symptom. It's a relic of a time where big stars felt safe to make fun of minorities, when radio stations routinely made racist and homophobic and sexist jokes on the air.

And that's been forgotten.

The 80's had a layer of hate that was jus under the veneer of jazzersize and fakeiotisim. the AIDS crisis, the racisim, and the bigotry was very real under a geriatric president who himself was living in the 1950's in his mind.

And our current president is dragging us back to that time.

Now here' the reason I'm sharing this memory right now.

A lot of people are saying that our sundowning president is living in his 80's heyday when his life was perfect. And a lot of younger people think the 80's was all happiness, neon bangles, and big hair.

It was much, much darker than that.

It took me a long time to learn how to take a compliment especially given the early 2010's where people used giving criticism as a excuse to be a dick and feel justified.

I really love when you will use more turquoise in your latex shoots. Feels like a untapped fresh take.

Don't get me wrong I still love the old games but this one gives me so much more satisfaction completing it.
