For the frieze, what's the difference between the red and black?

🟡 Multiple floors
🟡 Sprawling rooms and corridors
🟡 Linear & non-linear connections between floors
🟡 Varied themes/biomes between floors
🟡 Requirement to return to surface semi-regularly
🟡 Different factions. Usually fighting
