Seriously tho, Harvard has a $53Billion endowment. It’s the richest university in the world. Ivy League endowments are management some of the best fund managers in the world. Not sure why they need public grants regardless of their politics.

There is little money or fame in being a scientist. There is plenty being a charlatan, disinfo artists, or influencer. The economics don’t work for science as far as becoming one or consuming at a mass level. Only a small number need to be scientifically literate to get the benefits, unfortunately

Personally as a parent I find it much easier to get my kids to eat healthy & keep too many UPF out of the home.
It’s much harder to keep them away from junk media. They can spend so much more time watching junk than they can eating.

… make the argument that it’s those products cause harm. Fortnite is a never ending game designed to be addictive, so is TikTok & YouTube. I don’t think you can place the blame on one product. Combined they’re certainly deadly & damaging health but arguable social media is as bad if not worse.
