Eight weeks today and I'm celebrating a small victory.
I can move my toes again. Not too much and not for long before the pain starts up, but it's a big improvement.
But oh, those are some scars. 😂 ÷÷÷÷÷÷÷

I'm barely into the second week of this. New cast to be put on tomorrow, which will give me the opportunity to see my foot's new hardware from the outside. Maybe. Maybe I'll just see skin and the x-rays. Regardless, another 5 - 6 weeks before I can touch the ground with it.

The only squirrels I've encountered lately were those digging up my potted chives and mint plants right outside my back door. Cheeky tree weasels! Instead, I'll share a pic of the zero-fucks detected bros, Katsura & Gintoki.
