Kids.. these are called audio tapes. You could play music on them with an amazing device called a Walkman. Some even contained games and programs you could load on your computer!

It is sad to see it die. I got a lot out of it, but ever since EM took over, it's collapsed, and it's getting worse. Life's too short to waste it on garbage content.

I now have a #dotnet #blazor app that is able to maintain per-user state across server-rendered, server-interactive, and wasm-interactive pages in a single app. It still needs some refinement, but at least the concept is proven to work!

Pro tip: If you use Windows on #Mac with #Parallels (Intel Macs, I don't know about the M ones), every time you update Parallels, check that the Hypervisor type has not been changed back to "Apple", it is quite bad (you will notice 😉). Always have it in "Parallels", as you can also do HV nesting.

Pro tip: Si usáis Windows en Mac con #Parallels (Macs Intel, en los M no sé), cada vez que actualicéis Parallels revisad que no se os haya cambiado el tipo de Hypervisor a "Apple", es bastante malo (ya lo notaréis 😉). Tenedlo siempre en "Parallels", además podréis anidar.

As of Windows 11 version 22H2, Windows now supports live captions. That means you can see captions for videos you're watching or games you're playing even if the creator hasn't provided them

To open live captions press WIN + CTRL + L
