I'm Pseph/Pastel and I do a lot of whimsical 2D art!
I also crochet (but haven't quite had the time to launch a store for that yet, hopefully soon!)
An original illustration from me! There’s a cute little cat reaper, in a desaturated blue robe and hood, with a body made of deep purple shadows. She is standing atop a grassy hill of different color stripes that go up in hue (purple at the bottom, then indigo, then blue, then cyan, then light green), and is dotted with flowers in many colors. Her scythe has a crooked, curly purple handle, and two blades (one big one, one smaller one under it). Around her swirls an ethereal swarm of ghostly souls, all in different colors of the rainbow, swirling around the hill and up into the sky. An illustration by me in two halves, that can be turned right side up or upside down. The “top” is a white, flower-covered cat on a mossy rock in the middle of a pond, surrounded by a misty forest full of fairies, flowers and wildlife. The “bottom” is a black, crystal-covered cat on a mossy rock in the middle of a pond, surrounded by cyan mushrooms with bioluminescent swirling patterns on their caps, and crystal growths glowing in pink, purple and orange colors inside of a cave. Decided to do some render tests/experiments, and whenever I try out new art stuff, I usually use something I’m already familiar with, like Pokemon!

In a moment of serendipity, I ended up finishing this piece I’ve been working on for quite awhile now (chipping away between other works) in time for Halloween, AND it’s spooky themed!

A quick shaded drawing I did of Malamar (Pokemon) on a whim! A squid-like creature with an upside down body structure, purple and magenta in color mostly, with glowing yellow patterns on their body. Their main two tentacles are forming a heart in front of them, because Malamar is everyone’s friend :)

Whimside had its full release recently!!! I adore this game, probably my favorite idle game I’ve played! :) I highly recommend it.

This was super fun! Decided to get a bit experimental with mine this time, lol.
I took a color from each vee and labeled them all by dex order, and colored an eevee with it all!
Mane floof is colored in dex order, paws are in groups/pairs, and the eyes/inner ears are eevee colored!

My eevee art for this eevee art collab! The eevee is mainly white like a canvas, in order to show off all the colors I painted it in. There’s a color present for each eeveelution and eevee, and there are gradients/splotches of them all everywhere on its fur, like a messy painting or a calico cat!

Character design I made a bit ago that I’m pretty proud of! A trickster fey lord-ish being called “The Dancing Dark”, made to represent the fear of the unknown.
The chrysalis/butterfly motifs = fear of change, the shadow ones = fear of the dark. Both are also fears of the unknown :)

My illustrated character design, dubbed “The Dancing Dark”. A humanoid being with a “face” and “hair” made of shadows leaking out from their big hat and parts of their snazzy suit. Instead of a tailcoat they have 4 floating panels attached to their waist that resemble butterfly wings. Besides the wide brim hat and suit top, they also have on vertically striped pants, pointy dress shoes, and white gloves (that also show they may have claws as well). Their tie and earrings are designed to look like the chrysalis of a butterfly. They are surrounded by butterfly-like entities that use their wings and antennae to emote like sets of eyes (should I call them Butterfl-eyes?) Some sketch notes for my character design, “The Dancing Dark”. Shows that they can move/manipulate the “wings” attached to their suit, and also make the blue shapes inside of them into any image they want. Also shows that their face IS the shadows that flow down from their hat, creating a place for their eyes and nose to lie, and also creating their smile. There are also examples of how much they can manipulate their face to express stuff, changing from a spooky streaky face, to a butterfly, to a sort of cocky grin

Started off as an excuse to try and practice drawing hands and to try out new pencil brushes, but I had so much fun drawing him that I just filled the whole page, lol.

It’s mostly assorted expressions of his (flower nose, getting communications from his antenna and telling his employees to “make the air holes BIGGER”, looking confused about lancer, jumping up into the splits to do his star attack from his boss fight, some unhinges smiles and a side profile). The ones of note are: -a full-body drawing of him looking confident, holding a microphone on the left of the page -In the middle, him holding a mug that clearly used to say “World’s Best Dad” on it, but now has “TV” hastily scrawled on tape over the “Dad” part. Tenna says “Oh, Kris…! This is so sweet! You DO like me!” While wiping away a tear from his non-visible eye. Kris is in the back giving a thumbs up next to the SOUL, with a label that says “[SOUL made them do this.]” -And in the bottom right are two doodles, one of Tenna squeezing Spamton with both hands like he’s gonna shake him around, going “Gonna strangle this little FREAK”, and the next one being Spamton’s retaliation, jumping out of his hands and biting down on his nose with a [*CRUNCH*] while Tenna screams.

Been using these quick fan art doodles for warm-ups; something clicked in my brain with the Fun Gang doodle I did along the lines of “oh yeah, I CAN just do that without fully rendering everything all the time”!

She has black pants with a ripped up knee, red converse shoes, and a scuffed up bat in her left hand over her shoulder. There is also a small uncolored sketch comic of Noelle at Sans’s store, walking nervously up to the counter and going “D-Do you, um…have any more apple shampoo in stock???” To which Sans responds “Sorry only got Orange.”

The Mew (Pokemon) I drew for 2025’s Mew art collab! It floats happily in the middle of the canvas, tail curled around in almost a figure-8 kind of way, behind and then in front of it to cradle a poke all in the air. The unique thing here is that this mew has vitiligo, between regular mew colors (pale pink) and shiny mew colors (pale blue)! One of the first Mew drawings I ever did digitally, back in 2021! This was intended to be a “cotton candy mew”, with pale pink fur as the base, and splotches of pale blue and darker pink all over the fur (and alternating stripes of colors on the tail)! I also put it in a red collar with a little poke ball-themed bell.
