I mostly agree but would emphasize that while what he calls the "majoritarian delusion" does not explain why the Democrats are out of power after this past election, those "structural impediments" did thwart the will real Democratic majorities in the electorate for most of this century to date.

Yep. Bears job is the one he supposedly wanted to open up. Not excited about that prospect as a Lions fan.
