I have requested a timeline of work and steps undertaken by DHSC over the last 2 years to consider the content of the Hughes Report and my recommendations 3/4

On this anniversary I wrote a letter to Minister Ahmed, formally to exercise the powers under the Medicines and Medical Devices Act 2021 (Sch 1, para 3), to request information for the purposes of carrying out my core duties. 2/4

As this anniversary approaches, I urge the Government to respond, and encourage parliamentarians to continue pressing for action for those who have waited far too long. #PatientSafety #Valproate #PelvicMesh #Redress #HughesReport #PatientVoice #RedressNow 4/4

Despite ongoing engagement, I still await a formal Government response. The recommendations are practical, proportionate, and deliverable, and would provide support to those who need it most. 3/4

I heard how Bloom helps to improve patient outcomes following breast surgery and how the app provides information and support to patients with breast cancer before and after treatment. 2/3
