The Punalu’u Black Sand Beach on the Big Island of Hawaii has a sectioned area for turtles to rest undisturbed. Sitting on black sand absorbing its energy while quietly observing this glorious animal was a spiritual gift. I hope to return someday. #beaches #herper #blacksand

Bucket list favorite. One overnight at the Stanley Hotel was enough to understand Stephen King’s vibe. Front desk advised us not to leave our rooms after hours. Well worth the trip to drive from Colorado Springs.
