Troy Wright, PSA Assistant General Secretary has directly witnessed the incompetence in the operation of Parklea Correctional Centre. It is utterly baffling that MTC has been awarded this contract, especially through a flimsy subsidiary set up as a shelf company. This decision is deeply troubling.

The CPSU NSW is strongly opposed to the applications made by the employer groups and has separately filed an application to the Fair Work Commission (FWC) to increase the sleepover allowance and improve conditions more generally.
