If you're avoiding for privacy reasons (which I respect), the best way might be to use a disposable email address to sign up. Reddit seems to believe maildrop.cc has a good privacy policy.

GhaleonUnlimited did good work. So I'm sure you'll enjoy either. They have different goals so it depends what you want. GC's is amazing & meaningful storytelling. So we take more liberties than most. For some it may be too much. Fortunately there is a lot of choice. I hope you try GC either way!
