I see this as something could have been done but now that it happened, a person can not look back but look forward to fixing the next idea that may be similar to this one. Once an idea becomes reality, hopefully agencies that protect our environment will change the way it happened in the past.

This is very interesting as why has no one mentioned it to the community or school. This is a very good example and hope to hear about the outcome if someone spoke up.

I did a project similar to this topic in high school and it showed me how ones environment can affect so many people and how different countries have to deal with different governments then let say Canada.

I agree with you! I am an athlete and I feel that girls in sport would be covered more if we were heard by the media. Sports are to make friends, grow skills and be physically active. I believe that if women in higher up sports can improve the younger generations become stronger in sport.

I feel that in a situation like this that people need to respect each other and one person needs to man up and just agree so it doesn’t lead to a fight. Also, children are seeing this happen and think that this is normal to happen at an event which it is not.

I think that this is very powerful as it shows girls in sport that women can play sports and show their level. It also shows that athletes in high level sports are pushing themselves past their limit to show they wanna be there but still in pain from the injury but don’t want to loss there spot.

I agree that mental health should be more looked at in sport. As an athlete in University, I talk to a psychologist about what bothers me and how I need to maintain my mental state while juggling multiple items in my life.

Tiger Woods has went through many injuries during his career. His most notable being in 2008, he was playing with two stress fractures and later on had to go through multiple surgeries. Woods kept playing but has had to adjust his technique through the years. www.skysports.com/golf/news/12...

My career goal is to become a podiatrist. The job can be very busy during the day. I will be on my feet everyday and moving around as much as I can. I would like to play women’s league softball when I am working and also coaching softball or waterpolo teams in the night time.

These courses are very valuable for coaches, as it shows them how athletes need to be treated and how they should be treated by others while coaching. I agree with you Sam, that this is very important to keep a strong foundation for young athletes.
