which brings me to my next zaundads headcanon: we've talked about AU vander having to keep his hands away from silco's neck bc trauma but what about vander having to keep his nails filed short bc silco hates the way they feel against his skin

new theory: jinx got it backwards. the AU is actually the version of the world where silco DIDN'T get the letter. in the original universe he read it and it's what turned him evil

silco, in pain and traumatized, being looked after by the man he loves and the very man who hurt him, unsure how to feel.... vander being able to see the immediate aftermath of the hurt he caused and trying desperately to fix it....
