Despite a bad propane valve and torrential rain and myriad other nonsense, the S.S Dangerduck V: battle of the monitor and the Meriquack is in the oil and frying. Year 5 of nautical themed fried ducks at Thanksgiving.

Whelp my oldest Christmas cactus took a header today while cleaning for Thanksgiving. Fortunately I caught it by its hanger when it when careening so it’s only slightly tussled and abused.
I supposed good news, I’ll have some new plants propagated to share around new years. Maybe gifts or such

Congrats to my good friends Erika and Shameek on their wedding day. The delightful Ophelia made an appearance late at the reception. While a bit leery she sniffed my hand, then let me scritch her ears. All and all a good day

The aloe we have is now named Audrey and she continues to grow her flower spike ever taller. I’ve had to raise the grow light twice and she’s still doing her best impression of the Aloe that ate Chicago.
