The premise of "we don't have enough people producing ideas, we need to hand it off to computers" is also dumb. Why wouldn't your first thought be to automate menial labor so people have more time to create and research? Absolutely inhuman pattern of thought.

Generating "ideas" is literally the last thing that language models and current ML is good for.
Let alone the complete absence of discussion of the problems that would arise from putting scientific progress entirely within the hands of big tech.
