That sort of mindset is, I think, the biggest thing holding back major pieces of FOSS from actually upending their closed source equivalents. The amount of times I’ve been told to swap to gimp, explain why I can’t because of my workflow, and then be told “why would you do that” is infuriating

I’ve swapped over to a Firefox fork but god damn it do I miss vivaldis nesting tabs, the extension that people say does the same thing doesn’t actually do the same thing in actual use, so you can tell they only know the feature from hearing others use it.
