One woman spoke of accepting the offer because she’s an engineer for NASA in FL but works remotely from TX. She talked about the thought of uprooting her whole family to FL to work in person now when she feels like she has zero job security. She’s stuck between a rock and a hard place.

This isn’t the leverage you think it is. They WANT the government funding to fail so they can furlough workers, they want us to default on our debts, and the dollar to crash. It’s all a part of their plan.
