@wdiy.org I just saw a new German film called Köln 75, about Keith Jarrett, one of the best things to emerge from the LV. It has a very limited theatrical release (I saw it in Fairfax, VA), and will be streaming on Apple, I think.

@pbump.com A TV spot for Skyrizi for ulcerative colitis speaks of “visibly” [sic] improving intestinal linings. (Something similar appears at the Skyrizi site.) I think it refers to docs using specialized tools, not the naked eye available to people seeing you in public, as depicted in the ad.

#wdiy Note to Audie Cohen: I caught up with last Monday evening’s program. The tribute to David Crosby was dominated by songs by Graham Nash. I believe the artists themselves always intended that their distinctive styles be recognized. May I suggest, say, the Airplane’s rendering of Triad?

@pbump.com From the Solution in Search of a Problem Department: Fox Weather Channel, heretofore somewhat respectable, is previewing the Atlantic hurricane season using maps that depict the Gulf of America [sic].

@wdiy.org Note to Tom Druckenmiller: The band Calan is Welsh, not Irish.

@wdiyfm.bsky.social Note to Steve Aaronson: Morning Has Broken was written by Eleanor Farjeon, primarily an author of children’s books, circa 1930.

And I don’t think I heard any mention of the passing of Alice Brock a few days ago.
