I've been looking on on a chat on X lately. It's called #PTSDChat. Informative and open dialogs about PTSD and other mental health conditions. I'll be looking in tonight at 9pm. Some of my friends do this too. It helps me feel less stressed because I know I'm not alone with this.

My friend of more than 40 years decided it was time. Yesterday he killed himself. He'd suffered intense pain for years. At 78 he was tired and decided to give himself a break. (I hope you rest easy my friend). 😢💔
His mentorship made me a better soldier, and more so, a better man.

Who's really patriotic? Liking a politician shouldn't reduce our loyalty to those documents that protect our very citizen civil liberties. Accepting the openly dangerous dismissing of the system of checks and balances is outright treasonous behavior on anyone's account! No one has that right!

We cannot hand Trump even more power over our judiciary. To block this in the Senate, we need Democrats in both chambers to hold the line. Our lawmakers need to hear from us: text JUDGES to 63033 to tell your reps to vote no!

To those who are easily hurt by the truth; this best stay clear of me. I'm not in the habit of lying to spare feelings. I really don't care if reality is too much for someone else to handle. Get over your sensitivities and ease back into the real world. No script, just doing the necessities.

I say what I feel, but sometimes, it doesn't go over well with other people. That's dialog, not disrespect. So, we need better communication, which doesn't happen if we don't talk!

What does it mean to use "freedom of speech"? Does it mean the ability to say anything I please, no matter how hurtful? Does it mean I can say something disagreeable but not meant to cause harm? Does it mean I should be careful not to make mistakes when I speak? Should govt. have control of it?
