The seat tilt mechanism in my wheelchair was struggling. So I contacted the medical supply store/shop. They quoted me a new tilt for CAD3000+labor. That’s how they do things. Fortunately a friend was visiting from Europe, he bought $10 of grease, cleaned up the actuator and it was like new.

Oh it's tribalism o'clock again? I use Linux on my gaming/dev laptop but I'd be ok with macOS if I didn't game. I find it pleasant enough. Not too fond of Windows though, I can work on it, as I've had to many times, but find it to be a bit of a pus covered whale.

Welcome. COSMIC is great, I had fun writing my first applet already using libcosmic. I really enjoyed the little quality of life things like how easy it is to save/retrieve applet settings.
