There is a lesser known thread of this argument that comes from within the OSR, in which reactionary grognards say System Matters as an attack on people within the OSR who are hacking or modifying the older D&D systems. So weirdly it carries totally opposite meanings in different spheres

People are saying that multiple dreidels are bad but if you spin them in a dice roller box it becomes a battle royale

I'd add one more point, that writing adventures is also game design. So a major part of GM prep work is design unless you improv everything

I had the combo Mothership plus TTRPG or RPG like that originally but I missed so much content that I took it out. You might feel lazy, but you're doing a far better job than me and most others I imagine

I took "Stay Frosty" out of the scifi ttrpg feed because it was always prefaced by some semi shitty political statement. I'm still on the fence over what to do with "Mothership" as its both a popular event venue and a political funding organ
