so i set up a mostly-modular synth setup at the beginning of 2025, also with an expert sleepers es9 for recording and zany CV control. all i've really done with it so far is sample the noise the es9 makes when switched off :P

Tried "run as different user" in #renoise and it lets me run it with a distinct per-user configuration. I created a local user named renoise1 and ran it with those credentials.

I did this with a little opl3/adlib hardware synth and CANYON.MID a while back importing #midi into #renoise. Decided to try it out with F-Zero and a spc2mid converter. I'd have to manually add program changes to change instruments the way the snes conserved channels. Needs time sig fixed, too

Trying out the new Indiana Jones computer game and the initial loading screen, maybe textures compiling for the first time?, doesn't display an estimated percentage or time to completion, but just a timer that counts up to let the user know how long they've been waiting
