Polls can say what they like. Only actual elections count.
The last 4 local by-elections contested by Reform (23rd Jan)

Labour/Tories/LibDems & SNP each won one.

Reform came 3rd in 3 of them & 6th in 1
Labour beat Reform in all 4
Tories/LibDems & SNP beat reform in 2 each.
Greens beat Reform once.

Got myself one last year. Absolutely love it. :)
Also recommend a decent George Foreman Grill (make sure get one where you can remove the cooking plates) and also a decent multi-cooker.

My thoughts exactly. :D

Unfortunately most of this is down to the richest man in the world. Not Musk I am talking about Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin.
His dirty fingerprints are all over Trump. All over Reform. All over Brexit.

From Russia With Likes: Nigel Farage Dominates Social Media During General Election – Boosted by Bots Stoking Racism
The Reform Party is hovering around 18% of the vote, yet Farage's and his party's Facebook posts generated six times more reactions and shares than either Labour or the Conservatives and their leaders

My prediction for Trumps playlist

Step 1 throw Ukraine under the bus.
While EU and UK are busy dealing with Russia, Trump will
2 invade Greenland and Canada.
Meanwhile China will annex Taiwan.
3 arrest all Democrats as Chinese agents.
4 use the excuse of WWIII why elections should not happen.

Are we talking just Pluto or are we bringing Charon as well?

It would make it interesting if Charon was a MoonMoon. :)

Unfortunately you would be opening up a world of trouble for the officials that actually released the information. :( Trump would never let it go.

I am curious who would vote differently? For me I like my MP so I voted Labour. Under PR I would still vote Labour. I would definitely support a PR elected second house.

Unfortunately being in the single market would mean being in the customs union and also freedom of movement.
I say this with a heavy heart as a remoaner, but no party that advocates for freedom of movement would get anywhere near power in the UK. That is why Labour is pushing immigration so hard.

2010. Do not forget that it was David Cameron's government that took us out of the EU.
They enabled the Tories to govern in 2010 & win again in 2015. Labour were on the whole Pro-EU & the Tories were 65/35 anti-EU in 2010.
Unfortunately EU membership is a done idea for the next 20 years at least. :(

"Never give up the punt for the pole" is a phrase Brexiteers took way too seriously.

How is this deliberately misleading when it was the actual results of the 2024 General Election?
One presumes people voted for the party they wanted?
If anything Labour probably would be worse off due of all the tactical voting to get rid of the Tories. SNP and Plaid prob would have done better.
December 3, 2024 at 7:17 PM
Not so sure but Labour would have 236 seats, the Right coalition would be on 261 seats without Lib Dems.
Labour couldn't rely on SNP or Plaid because in Scottish Parliament/Senedd Cymru Labour are their main opponents.
2010 suggests Lib Dems would go with the biggest block.
Not sure about Greens?
December 3, 2024 at 7:09 PM
Just think under PR the results of GE 2024 would have been
Labour 236
Tory 157
Reform 97
Lib Dem 77
Green 42
SNP 18
Sinn Fein 5
Plaid 4
DUP 4
Alliance 3
UDP 2
SDLP 2
TUV 1
Other 7

Which would give us a Tory/Reform/Lib Dem/DUP/TUV/UDP coalition. 338
Labour could not rely on SNP or Plaid either.

Space quiz.
1) Mercury is the closest planet to the Sun but on average which is the closest planet to Earth?
2) Which planet on average is closest to Jupiter?
3) Which planet on average is closest to Neptune?

Someone needs to start a petition about re-joining the EU customs union and single market. Perhaps we can demonstrate the folly of the GE petition with a viral petition of our own.
