“The Heringers did everything society asked of them,” Hamilton County Prosecutor Connie Pillich said. “They followed the law. They invested and lived in the urban core. They are beloved members of the Downtown and Over-the-Rhine communities.“

“A 9-year-old girl’s life was tragically cut short because someone chose to resolve a conflict with gun violence. It doesn’t work that way. I hope today’s 30- to 35.5-year prison sentence for Qasseem Dixon brings her family some measure of peace.”

Our office has long supported Hamilton County Drug Court and the good work they do. It was fun to see everyone at Drug Court Community Day sharing with the community the resources they offer and their successes.

Brigid Kelly dedicated her life to public service. This highway naming is a fitting memorial to all she gave of herself. We all miss her.

Brigid Kelly was lovely, kind, smart, and generous. She was born to serve our community. I am pleased that we are honoring her contributions by renaming this highway in her memory. We should all endeavor to carry on her legacy of service.
