My cat has the same problem. She also tried to do her own dental work. The first time it was fine (she broke off her own tooth), the second time she didn’t do it as cleanly so she had to have surgery about it. (Here she is post surgery, the pain meds made her forget she was in the middle of dinner).

Was just casually cleaning my house when I stumbled upon a single Pokemon card hidden in a loose stack of Amibo cards I keep in the top of a pen organizer. I don’t play Pokemon TCG (only MTG) but Gengar and Mimikyu are my favorites. So when I looked it up on TCG player I about had a heart attack.

Feel like this means I’ve got goofy sidekick energy.

Take the fictional characters quiz and post the first four you know:

Watching people in the Seattle area complain about a tame-ass new roundabout (1st picture) is insane since I moved here from Boston, a place where Mario Cart and Mad Max made an unholy love child. (Last 3 pics are ones I drove through on the regular, not to mention Jamicaway/Arborway).

I have a weakness for things made out of non-standard materials (i.e. my laptop case is fabric (I put patches on it), my business card have been handmade wood, metal, or plexi, I tried to make a Silicone Dice Vault at one of last jobs, etc). So I love pairing my Silicone Dice with Metal Dice Vaults.

Saw a trailer, thought to myself “huh all their mouth look really fucking weird and they all have accents… is this AI?” and lo and behold… 😐

My poor baby, absolutely zonked out on pain medicine after having dental surgery. She kept forgetting she was trying to eat.

Hey all you fellow woodworkers that follow me, I need some advice! I bought this at an antique store for my fiancé. It will be living outside eventually. I have already glued some sections of it and blown it out. I need advice on sealer for rain/uv/mold resistance (that also won’t remove paint).

For the first time ever, I wrote an e-mail to my senator @murray.senate.gov. I wanted to express my feelings as a theatre worker about Trump installing himself on the board of the Kennedy Center, a terrible omen for freedom of speech. I got back this response about Robert F. Kennedy…. :/

Since I’m now management at a union shop and am not on the floor, most of the pics/vids of me at my shop are of me doing dumb things like crawling into my 3D printer enclosure to fix it.

Drove to 22 antique/salvage shops for work, happened to snap a picture of this guy on my way out of one and my fiancee immediately fell in love with it. Now I have to do something to this poor dry rotted little frog to make sure he can withstand a rainy season outdoors.

I know is from 18 days ago, but I will just say as a former WW employee, you can easily sand the logos off (provided they weren’t burned in too deep) and then just use what they use which is Tried & True and is a thing you can super easily do at home. Wipe it on, let it dry a little, wipe it off.

Friend of mine put this in a discord thread so people could fill them out about their pets. (Spoopsy is fairly well behaved until we had to stay with my parents for a bit where she would often wake up my parents’ 17 year old cat by hitting him in the face).

Funny someone should mention him being a cartoon villain since his twitter account pfp is him photoshopped as a cartoon villain. (Also confirmed Musk fanboy). Also nearly everyone in that header (from 2021) has left the company since that picture or been laid off.

SO satisfying. Honestly since there’s pros in a piece already being broken so you have room to fix it. But some fixes can feel like they take 1 million years. For instance cleaning this old trunk took AGES (we also re-upholstered the interior).
