No. They were so expressive because the production studios were trying to match the layouts to the boards. A lot of the drawings were not well executed and had to be fixed by the inhouse post team which became so overwhelmed that we had the studios stick to the models for the later seasons.

I have an Animate command that names symbols after the file name I'm working in.

The majority is outsourced, but there is a small inhouse crew to animate full scenes or polish animation in post.

I just read the blog, I'm the one he made the plug-in for lol. I must not have liked it because I don't have it installed. I'm unable to access the mxp file though because I cannot install an extension manager on my work machine without clearance from IT, and I don't like to bother them.

I don’t think David made the one I use, but this one might be similar. David (pinkandaint) was an animator on Fosters so a lot of the plugins he coded were derived from processes in our pipeline back then. I will test this one out tomorrow and see if it’s superior.

It's a command I downloaded years ago called Layer Frame Distributor, I don't remember what site it came from.
