When I was testing portable HDR/on vs off looking for less color banding with HDR turned on, when turning the camera in Mario Odyssey the koopa npc was really blurry & smeary.

Playing on the Moon Kingdom is also another good way to see banding with HDR turned off in handheld. I'm assuming because it's 8-bit color gradation vs 10-bit with HDR turned on

Using Mario Odyssey since it has HDR patched in now. On the world selector screen, the outside of Earth in the background the banding is less obvious with the handheld screen with HDR output turned on. Turned off has more obvious banding. This is the biggest advantage I have seen to keep HDR left on

My bad, I should have taken a closer look at the gameplay. I just saw the black bars around the border and tunnel visioned. As you can probably tell I need to play MP2 & MP3. Nintendo just won't take my money for HD ports 🫠

Looks like you need to use the adjust screen size setting on Switch 2. You're only getting 98% Metroid Prime and not 100% 😄

But on Satisfyes discord they gave estimates updates to shipping times per batch. If someone who had an order placed before May 30th cancels, they will likely get the grip shipped out later

The internal mechanism is different, but feel wise it feels the same, and from ryukahr (Pro Mario Maker player), ShinyZeni (Super Metroid WR holder) and my experience the d-pad has a lot more false inputs due to the d-pad being too sensitive and small

The d-pad sucks and isn't an improvement, but everything else is great like the smooth sticks, better HD rumble snd gyro, raised start and select buttons to differentiate between capture and home buttons

Nintendo started that with the OLED model deom 2021, definitely a good upgrade from the 2017 switch though
