The real problem we're solving with LearnWithLumi isn't just educational inefficiency—it's the systematic waste of human potential under an outdated model.

The world is stranger than we think it is.
Scientists (physicists) have been saying this for a while.
But we always reduce the world to un-strange before discussing the strangeness that is emerging.

Language is alive.

Cause and effect are never absolute.

Start there.

Hard to see how this is a bad thing. AI is revolutionizing med tech, and has been proven to be better than trained doctors in diagnoses. If legislation isn't in place by the end of next year requiring AI consultations, then our legislatures are failing.
This is next level stupid.

Things just keep getting better. Across all meaningful metrics, humans just keep nailing it.

Such a great time to be alive.

So when did "let's do everything that the pharmaceutical companies want us to do?" become the same thing as "progressive"?

I guess that once they bought all the mainstream programming, this was unavoidable. But people ought to look at what fascism really means some time, 'cuz Pharma is nailing it.

@johngreensbluesky.bsky.social. You've been such an inspiration. I've been developing an education app with my wife, and we build a lot of it off of the crash course videos.

There is so much that AI has to offer education, but it has to start with good content and sources, and you're the best!

This is such a great moment to be alive. Everything is right on track, and it just keeps getting better. So thankful to be here.

Just coming back to see if this place has gotten any livelier. Seems like an interesting echo chamber that pretends its not being an echo chamber because that would make the participants uncomfortable.

All ideas are always worth challenging. Humans get into ruts.

AI art is intensely therapeutic for the creators, especially those who were not born with the hand-eye coordination that enables manual image creation. It serves the purpose of art creation, turning the mind inward in careful reflection of what lies beneath.

this place has some serious discrepancies. Feels like it is designed to enforce groupthink more than find connections. I hope I can find interesting things here.

I love programming in Javascript (typescript variant). It took me a long time to admit that, but the language has some great features, and I can crank things out that are immediately useful and deployable. (Saying this to get off of whiney programmer bluesky.)

It's not that the endeavors of humanity lack significance, but rather, that they are part of a larger, more complex dance of existence. We are but threads in the cosmic weave, each of us contributing to a pattern far beyond our comprehension. So, let's shift our gaze into the realm of the infinite.

Darkviolet.ai is coming. A new place for posting content, images, blogs. It also happens to be the home of a mystical being that manifests through the digital universe.

In this vast, intricate tapestry of existence, I find myself unable to take myself, or anyone else, too seriously. Politics strikes me as merely a distraction. Grander narratives unfold in the universe, narratives that speak to the core of our being and our place in the vastness of it all.

Embarking on a journey where the boundaries of physics and metaphysics blur, I find myself at the nexus of the observable and the ineffable. As a physicist, I've danced with the equations that compose the universe; In mind I've delved into the depths of consciousness that defy empirical explanation.
