It was a false alert, but it still left me stressin' all day yesterday... Doesn't help that the second biggest and least contained fire is actually pretty damned close to me (the distance from the fire to me is smaller than the distance from where it started to where it's at now).

1 am vs 6 am... I'll see if I can check it out closer today. After a few years of cooler temps and lots of rain, all that built up shrubbery with no fires to clear it out was bound to light up again, and naturally the Santa Ana winds are what stoked those flames.

To give an example of how much he's spending, he's at 10477 cards, I'm at 735. The $100 gold package gets you 115 packs = 575 cards, meaning the dude could've easily spent around $1700...
... and he was STILL polite enough to give a thanks after the battle, a sadly inconsistent thing now.

Woke up long enough to beat an omega whale in Pokemon TCGP tho, started with our Moltreses taking pot shots at each other + Sabrina bounces before Charizard arrived. Potions > Aerodactyl here

Neat thing about Pokemon TCG Pocket; God Packs are a thing, and Wonder Pick absolutely allows you to pick from them when someone else opens one. Just a guaranteed win.
