The first kid that throws a rock at one of these things is going to get slapped with an assaulting-an-officer charge. They'll give them awards like K-9s.

How many leases will go un-renewed so that landlords can make a quick windfall during the World Cup?

I’m really curious to see if negative pressures from the gambling block played a role in this. The bag was so lite, were there also being threatened if they resisted playing along?

As a South Hyde Park resident, the new 39th is a huge success. I’d love to see it implemented further west and east!

That beings said, I don't really have a dog in any of these fights and I'm just rooting for good baseball. Though, I would love to see a Seattle/Milwaukee WS.

I still root against Toronto because of the team they had in 2015. They were such agro-bro dopes (Donaldson and Bautista in particular) that I'm still annoyed by the club. The Yankees have been sad-sacks for so long now that I can't hold too much contempt for their big-spending practices.

I don't know man, what were the dental offices wearing?

I would personally lead a bicycle parade to the ballpark EVERY SINGLE GAMEDAY and carry a John Sherman banner while doing it. He could be a hero in this town just by doing the obviously decent thing of paying for his own stadium and not displacing vibrant neighborhoods. 3/3

If the Royals settled on a location like the East Village, Washington Square Park, or anywhere else near downtown that wouldn't displace active businesses or residences and paid for it out of their own immense income.... 2/3

I buy my tickets on the 2nd hand market and biked in today. He didn’t get anything from me that he didn’t already have. (Though, I did buy an over-priced beer 🤷‍♂️)

Caveats abound, I caught the first three clean and on the fly, the fourth on a bounce. They were all foul balls, not HRs. All off the bat of non-Royals. Change in any of those might have made me act differently.

eh, I've caught four, kept the first three, but they kind of lose their magic after a while, so I gave the last one away without a thought. The parents surprised me with a beer as thanks, it worked out for everybody.
