I'd ask why, if it's a property tax,the banks are not paying the rate on the value they own? Why does the person who lives in the home pay the full property tax when they are not the owners of the full value of the property?

Why is it important to understand fascism in this way? Because it shows that it was not some insane one-off event isolated to Germany (or Italy), but a rational tendency of capitalism itself

Is there a source for this. Most of the establishment articles I'm seeing are saying the opposite, but I'd love to get to the truth of it.

It seems a bit unfair to say that the author, who is a revolutionary socialist of many decades and who has deep involvement in working-class activism and organisation, "doesn't understand" the concepts he references in the article.

Breathnach sees social-media-based neo-Stalinism, not as a branch of genuine socialism with which other sincere socialists have minor differences, but as something propagated by authoritarian ruling classes which hinders genuine socialist development and discussion. It is also a reactionary ideology

Marx, unfortunately, never developed a structured analysis of class. The last unfinished chapter of Capital (Vol 3) was apparently his attempt to begin such an analysis. Wright's book aimed to fill this gap.
