This comes down to regulation, at the end of the day too many people are using AI for things they really shouldn’t be. “Handmade” craft, fake videos, reports etc

I got the email about this a few days ago, I was pleasantly surprised it’s going to be free with the AI features requiring a sub. I’m absolutely ok with that arrangement

there are, but i’ve just been digging and it seems Macbook Pros in the US ship with the 70W charger in the box but not models in Europe / UK

What’s worse is that you can only add a charger on the configuration page if you upgrade something. Otherwise you have to go to the accessories page after adding your MacBook to bag.

It strikes me as an odd choice for a laptop. I get it when it comes to phones, pretty much any usb charger works for a phone but laptops need more power. Even more odd that you can’t just add one on the configuration page without upgrading something and have to venture to the accessories page
