Aw, thank you. I've found it fascinating. We tend to forget that the greatest value of commemorations is how we use them to educate ourselves and learn from history.

And yes, a civil war that birthed a new country founded on an idea affected the globe. All story contributions are welcome!

In all seriousness, that’s kind of a brilliant inter generational insight. Back in the day, we’d say “The Times reports…” but today kids appreciate that things change so fast that their reporting on Tuesday could be obsolete by Thursday. Timestamp is spot on… it always was. 🤭
